26 PR/Marketing/Tourism Greening of the Jeanie Johnston for St. Patrick’s Festival – on itinerary for 30 visiting international media. Coco Television who produce for RTE have been in contact to include promotion of Tall ships event during St. Patrick’ s Festival. Feb /August – service provider will programme PR and Marketing activity June – visit of the Tall Ship – George Stage 26

27 Tall Ships Project - Progress to Date Trainee Recruitment Engagement with DCC Sports, Housing and Community, Access for All and STIYD, OYTI and JST Dublin City Tall Ships Fund 25 funded opportunities currently available - register and apply on line at dublintallships.ie - closing date - Sunday 11 th Mar Offers – April Self fundraising - May – July Participate - August Cost approximately per trainee €2,500 trainees asked to fund raise up to €400 27

29 Tall Ships Project - Progress to Date Port and Land Logistics Consultation with businesses in the IFSC and all transport agencies re traffic management 1 st Draft Ship Berthing plan in process based on current ships registered. – 28 including 17 Class A’s and B’s. 29 ships now registered and 11 countries represented. Another 12 ships known to be interested in coming to Dublin and also a number of naval ships 29

30 Tall Ships Project - Progress to Date 30 Port and Land Logistics Draft event infrastructural requirements complete. Critical elements of infrastructure as per Waterford -– seating and toilets. Focus at present is on procurement Weather contingency also important - looking at use of indoor as well as outdoor venues
