CERTIFICATE IN SOCIAL AND HUMAN SERVICES ASSISTANCE The Social and Human Services Assistant Certification Program is designed specifically for students who are interested in preparing for entry level positions in the health and human services fields. Students enrolled in the program can earn up to 17 college credits, along with the Social and Human Services Assistance Certificate, following their successful completion of the program. Both the certificate and the college credits will be issued by Rhode Island College and Rhode Island College Outreach Programs.

English as a Second Language(ESL) and Computer Assisted English Language Learning (CAELL) The Computer Assisted English Language Learning program is designed to give adults whose first language is not English, the tools and foundation to communicate effectively in English. Various forms of technology are incorporated into the curriculum to enhance the classroom experience as well as giving students the opportunity to use different forms of media that they will use at work or in daily life. We provide our students with the necessary literacy and computer skills to function in their roles as learners,parents, workers, and consumers.
