Your Academic Advisor is a VIP Your advisor is an expert in your field and can connect you with important learning experiences. Your advisor helps you plan your coursework and helps you stick to your plan. Your advisor is your connection point to campus resources.
Connecting with your advisor: Look for an e-mail invitation, make an appointment. Think about what questions you might want to ask. Come ready to talk a little bit about why you chose your CJ major and what you might want to do with it. Put your fall classes in “My Planner” (watch the video link your advisor will include in the invitation)
