EAC Certified System Configurations: o Standalone Each computer configuration is a single, dedicated, EMS workstation o Locally Networked EMS A closed networked system that combines a client server with one or more EMS workstations. Additional networking capabilities with the DS850 System Hardening o The ES&S system is not exposed to public networks when deployed in the recommended configuration o Implementation of effective election system security guards the election process and assures public confidence in results 6
