21 Happy Yalda! Yalda is a major Iranian celebration. It starts at Winter Solstice which happens around Dec. 22 that is the longest night in Northern Hemisphere!

22 Pomegranate (Anar), has been the iconic fruit of Yalda for thousands of years! It took about 4000 years for it to arrive from Persia and become popular in the US.
