Romans 3 There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Romans 6 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sin Management History has brought us to the point where the Christian message is thought to be essentially concerned only with how to deal with sin: with wrongdoing or wrong-being and its effect. Life, our actual existence, is not included in what is now presented as the heart of the Christian message, or it is included only marginally. That is where we find ourselves today. (Dallas Willard) …we see that the only thing made essential on the right wing of theology is forgiveness of the individual’s sins. On the left is removal of social or structural evils. The current gospel then becomes a “gospel of sin management.” Transformation of life and Character is no part of the redemptive message. Moment-to-moment human reality in its depths is not the arena of faith and eternal living. (Dallas Willard)

Sin (amartias)= miss the mark, miss, not share in something
Wages (othonia)=some activity an end result from Eternal Life (Zoe aionias)=qualitative aspect to it and not simply quantitative Gift (karisma)=to give freely, generous, gracious gift

Romans 6 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Confession And Repentance

Mark1:4 And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. 5The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River. Mathew 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near” Luke 5:31 Jesus answered them , It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Luke 15:11-32 Lost Son/Loving Father

Luke 24:45-47 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46 He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations…” Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Acts But this is how God fullfilled what he foretold through the prophets, saying that his Christ would suffer. Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord

Romans 2:4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance? 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective

1 John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness

Confession And Repentance
Confess= Same Word Repent= Turn Your Back or Return
