2 Origin ● Originated in the Roman-Latin Empire ● During 1st-5th centuries C.E. ● Thought that the disciples of Jesus Christ formed the Catholic Church but, no one is sure; some say Jesus Christ himself

3 Beliefs ● Existence in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, Spirit and Son ● Follows the 10 Commandments of God ● Follows the Bible and believes it is error- free. ● Baptism is mandatory for salvation ● Believes in Hell and the forgiveness of sin through confession
