3 What we must do  Faith comes from hearing the message. Romans 10:17  God’s kindness leads you towards repentance. Romans 2:4  Repent from acts that lead to death. 4 New life in Christ  Raised to life. Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 4:14, Colossians 2:12  God made us alive with Christ. Ephesians 2:5, Colossians 2:13  Washed, sanctified, justified. 1 Corinthians 6:11  We see and enter the kingdom of God – born again. John 3:3  We have confidence to enter the most holy place. Hebrews 10:19  Christ appears for us in God’s presence. Hebrews 9:24  Have peace with God. Romans 5:1  The righteous shall live by faith. Galatians 2:20,3:11  Streams of living water shall flow from within. John 7:38  Given eternal life. John 17:2  Rescued us from the dominion of darkness. Colossians 1:13  Made new in the attitude of your minds. Ephesians 4:23  Put on the new self. Ephesians 4:24-32  Born again of imperishable seed. 1 Peter 1:23  Have access to the Father by one Spirit. Ephesians 2:18  He always lives to intercede for us. Hebrews 7:25  Dead to sin. 5 Our calling in Him  Become children of Abraham – of promise. Galatians 4:28  Adopted as sons Ephesians 1:5 …through faith in Christ. Galatians 3:26  Predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his son. Romans 8:29-30  To disciples is given authority to preach and heal. Matthew 10:1, Mark 3:15, Luke 9:1  So be rooted and built up in Christ. Colossians 2:6-7  Belong to Jesus to bear fruit to God. Romans 7:4  Set your hearts on things above. Colossians 3:1  Offer ourselves to God…as instruments of righteousness. Romans 6:13  Called to obedience through faith. Romans 1:5  God works in you to will and act according to his good purpose. Philippians 2:13, Hebrews 13:21  We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works. Ephesians 2:10  Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and your neighbour as yourself – even your enemies. Matthew 22:37-39, Mark 12:30-31, Luke 6:27, Romans 12:20  Sharing your faith will give you a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. Philemon 6  We are kept by Jesus. Jude 1  If we escape the corruption of the world…and are again entangled in it…we are worse off at the end than we were in the beginning. 2 Peter 2:20  It’s not the natural children who are God’s children. Romans 9:8  Set his seal of ownership on us. 2 Corinthians 1:22 Become heirs. Galatians 4:7, Ephesians 1:14  We are in Jesus and Jesus in us. John 8:12  The world has been crucified to me and I to the world. Galatians 6:14  Do not conform…to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2  Made a kingdom of priests to serve God. Revelation 1:6, 5:10 We know God if we obey his commands. 1 John 2:3  Those that follow and serve are honoured by God. John 12:26  Serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13  Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 1 Peter 3:15  He will keep you strong to the end. 1 Corinthians 1:8 No-one can snatch us out of the Father’s hand.
