 Last year, the Interior Department spent nearly $100,000 to install an outhouse on an Alaskan trail, which includes a single toilet with no internal plumbing. Source: The Daily Signal

 “the cupboard is bare. There’s no more cuts to make.”  The cupboard, however, is overflowing with liquor, crystal glassware, and more.

 Our incumbents voted for the maximum budget spending! (give #’s)  However, we only plan to grow the economy by 2% next year. It’s unsustainable.  This is money we DON’T have to spend!

 Medium-High Paying Jobs (logging, manufacturing, tech)  Quality education for our children with higher standards and more parental choice.  We need access to our natural resources to increase jobs and efficiently manage our forests and wildlife.

 Lower Healthcare costs and affordable care for all. (free market alternatives)  Lower taxes for those who need it most.  Protect your rights from federal overreach. Our citizens, ranchers and farmers are being abused by the Feds with no protection.

63% of Idaho Lands Controlled by Feds

 Billions in education funding sitting…  There is more than $150 trillion dollars of mineral value locked up in the federally controlled lands (Institute for Energy Research).  Thousands of new jobs ready and waiting…

 As much as 90% of all lands in Illinois and Missouri (and AL, LA, AR, IN, FL, etc.) were federally controlled for decades! With so much land under federal control, these States persistently argued they could not:  adequately fund education,  grow their economies, or  responsibly manage their abundant resources.

The Transfer of Public Lands is the Only Solution Big Enough to:  Adequately Fund Education  Better Care for the Environment  Grow the Economy: both Locally and Nationally  Gain Some Sense of Energy Independence

Repeal sales tax on groceries. This will…  Help all Idahoans budget  Especially benefit the poor in our communities  Lets you keep more of your hard earned money

End Sales Tax on Groceries  Family of 4-6 may spend $400 every trip to the grocery store. That’s $24 just in sales tax on food!

Lower Healthcare Costs/Quality Care

Free Market Alternatives  Direct Primary Care (DPC): Quality care for a small monthly fee of $60-$100/mo  Health Savings Accounts  Self Payer System (OKC Medical Center) $1,900 vs. $20,000 for nose surgery

Protect Idahoans Property & Privacy

Senator Shawn Keough’s 2013 Record

2014 Freedom Index

Campaign Finance  My opponent was given $76,367 in 2012  More than 1/3 of her funding came from Boise.  More than $60,000 came from outside of our district! Who really runs North Idaho?

Ask yourself…  Shouldn’t North Idaho Be Fiscally Conservative?  Do we want to grow government or reduce it?  Do you believe the Idaho Healthcare Exchange was in the best interest of Idahoans?

Ask yourself…  The incumbents approved of Common Core education which takes away local control and data mines our kids.  Are you better off today than you were 18 years ago?

If you have a serious emergency requiring immediate medical attention, call 911 and then either call Qliance or have the hospital personnel call us to let us know so we can participate in your care. Most of our providers coordinate hospital and emergency care remotely, working with other doctors and care providers over the phone and touching base with you and/or your family members. Some of our providers maintain hospital privileges and provide direct, bedside care and coordination (at Swedish Hospital First Hill Campus only). Laboratory Tests  Qliance offers some basic onsite laboratory testing at no additional charge (such as pregnancy testing, strep throat testing, HIV screening, and others). For all other tests, Qliance sends samples to our partner reference laboratories for processing. Office Procedures and Supplies  Qliance providers perform a number of in-office procedures, including skin biopsies, stitches, wound care, casting/splinting, EKG’s, and more, all included in your membership. If needed, we can also provide you with a selection of supplies (such as braces, splints, and crutches) at no additional cost. Samples obtained from any procedures (such as skin biopsies) may need to be sent to the laboratory for further analysis, which will be charged according to our laboratory test procedures (see above). Medications and Prescriptions  Prescriptions can be sent to the pharmacy of your choice, including mail order. Vaccines  We carry the most common childhood and adult vaccines, including the flu vaccine when in season. In Washington State, all children’s vaccines are provided free of charge. Adult vaccines are charged at cost (or to your employer or trust if you are in a work or union-sponsored plan). We also provide some travel vaccines – talk with your Qliance provider if you are planning a trip out of the country so that they can advise you on proper preparation for travel.  Qliance does not provide maternity/prenatal care, specialist care, advanced imaging, emergency services, or complementary and alternative care such as acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, or naturopathy. However, we will be pleased to help you find the best source for these types of care as needed.
