4 Washington State Hospital AssociationHealth Information Program Two hospitals have closed this year, and one will open next year Washington State Hospital AssociationHealth Information Program Providence Health & Services closed Deer Park Hospital in March Group Health Cooperative ended inpatient services at its Eastside Hospital May 2008, and will move remaining services to other facilities by the end of the year. Franciscan Health System plans to open their new facility, St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, in early 2009.
