How does HB 5 Impact IB? Students completing the IB curriculum will follow the guidelines for the Multi-Disciplinary Studies Endorsement. Students may be eligible for additional endorsements, including: –Arts and Humanities (Band, Drama, Spanish, Choir, Orchestra) –STEM (Math and Science) –Public Service (ROTC)
How does HB 5 Impact IB? Students completing the IB curriculum will be eligible for the “Distinguished” achievement diploma provided that they meet the state’s TSI compliance. –Pass STAAR at commended levels –Pass PSAT at commended levels –Pass SAT or ACT at commended levels Basically, be prepared to enter University without the need for remediation.
