Each validation stages’ inputs and findings are checked for associations and/or relationship inconsistencies with the following sources: 1. The holy Bible 2. The Spirit of Prophecy (Ellen G. White’s prophetic writings, etc...) 3. Valid Bible code matrices If all three criteria are met, without violation, the theological belief is considered valid and adopted as present truth.

Holy Bible Commentary on the Sabbath

God rested upon the seventh day, blessed the seventh day and hallowed it.) “27And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.” Mark 2:27 and 28 (KJV) (The Sabbath was given to the human race 2300 years before the existence of the Jews as a memorial for all mankind.) Holy Bible Commentary on the Sabbath (Cont.)

Holy Bible Commentary on the Sabbath (Cont.)

Holy Bible Commentary on the Sabbath (Cont.)

8 The_Saturday_Sabbath_Rev-D.ppt© ; David Douglas Bell, All rights reserved Page 8 Adapted From: Studying Together, Mark Finley Hart Research Center, Page 29. Holy Bible Commentary on the Sabbath (Cont.) “54And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on. 55And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. 56And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.1Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.” Luke 23:54 – 56; 24:1 (KJV) (This passage lists three days in succession. The day Christ died--the preparation--Friday. The day Jesus rested in the tomb--Sabbath--Saturday. The day Jesus resurrected--the first day--Sunday. The Sabbath is clearly Saturday, the seventh day of the week.) “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8 (KJV) (Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.)

Holy Bible Commentary on the Sabbath (Cont.) “6Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; 7Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.” Isaiah 56:6-7 (KJV) (Those that honor and teach others to keep the commandments of will be brought into God’s church.) “22For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.” Isaiah 66:22 and 23 (KJV) (In the new heavens and new earth we shall keep Sabbath each week.)

10 The_Saturday_Sabbath_Rev-D.ppt© ; David Douglas Bell, All rights reserved Page 10 Holy Bible Commentary on the Sabbath (Cont.) “4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. 5And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: 7Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. 8For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.” Hebrews 4:4-10 (KJV) (The day of rest is the seventh day Sabbath. If there was another or different day, Jesus would have mentioned it.) “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Revelation 14:11 (KJV) (The seventh day, the day of rest, is observed by those that receive the seal of God. Those that receive the mark of the beast reject God’s Sabbath and therefore “have no rest day”.)

12 The_Saturday_Sabbath_Rev-D.ppt© ; David Douglas Bell, All rights reserved Page 12 Sister White’s Comments on The Sabbath “‘The importance of the Sabbath as the memorial of creation is that it keeps ever present the true reason why worship is due to God,’ because he is the Creator, and we his creatures. ‘The Sabbath therefore lies at the very foundation of divine worship; for it teaches this great truth in the most impressive manner, and no other institution does this. The true ground of divine worship, not of that on the seventh day merely, but of all worship, is found in the distinction between the Creator and his creatures. This great fact can never become obsolete, and must never be forgotten.’ It was to keep this truth ever before the minds of men, that God instituted the Sabbath in Eden; and so long as the fact that he is our Creator continues to be a reason why we should worship him, so long the Sabbath will continue as its sign and memorial. Had the Sabbath been universally [Continued on the next slide.]

13 The_Saturday_Sabbath_Rev-D.ppt© ; David Douglas Bell, All rights reserved Page 13 Sister White’s Comments on The Sabbath (Cont.) kept, man’s thoughts and affections would have been led to the Creator as the object of reverence and worship, and there would never have been an idolater, an atheist, or an infidel. The keeping of the Sabbath is a sign of loyalty to the true God, ‘him that made heaven and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.’ It follows that the message which commands men to worship God and keep his commandments, will especially call upon them to keep the fourth commandment.”- The Great Controversy (1888), pages 437 and 438. Some may have never heard the Sabbath truth. Is being ignorant of and/or not fully understanding God’s law inexcusable? Sister White had the following comment that may help answer the question:

14 The_Saturday_Sabbath_Rev-D.ppt© ; David Douglas Bell, All rights reserved Page 14 “Those whom Christ commends in the judgment may have known little of theology, but they have cherished His principles. Through the influence of the divine Spirit they have been a blessing to those about them. Even among the heathen are those who have cherished the spirit of kindness; before the words of life had fallen upon their ears, they have befriended the missionaries, even ministering to them at the peril of their own lives. Among the heathen are those who worship God ignorantly, those to whom the light is never brought by human instrumentality, yet they will not perish. Though ignorant of the written law of God, they have heard His voice speaking to them in nature, and have done the things that the law required. Their works are evidence that the Holy Spirit has touched their hearts, and they are recognized as the children of God.”- The Desire of Ages, (1898), page 638. 16 The_Saturday_Sabbath_Rev-D.ppt© ; David Douglas Bell, All rights reserved Page 16 “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,” Revelation 1:10 (KJV) (See “in the Sabbath is the day of the Lord” Bible code matrix.) The following texts help identify what day “the Lord’s day” is: “For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.” Matthew 12:8 (KJV), “27And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.” Mark 2:27 and 28 (KJV), “And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.” Luke 6:5 (KJV). (See “the Lord of the Sabbath is a lion” Bible code matrix.) Even though Revelation 1:10 does not clearly reveal which day is the Lord’s day, the following Bible code matrix does. The phrase “the Sabbath is the day of the Lord” was searched for. When it was found, it was extendable to: “in the Sabbath is the day of the Lord”. Matrix Comments (in the Sabbath is the day of the Lord / the Lord of the Sabbath is a lion)

When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 46And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. 47And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. 48And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.” Luke 8: (KJV) Matrix Comments (from you is the cure of hemophilia from the Sabbath) The following code matrix may be describing additional details of the woman that touched Jesus’ cloak and was healed by her faith.
