Walsh, who has a background in music, began her writing career soon after leaving Victoria University where she majored in English Literature.
The filmmakers Alan Lee, who is responsible for the fifty watercolor illustrations in the centenary editions of The Lord of The Rings, Tolkien ’ s Ring and The Hobbit, provided conceptual sketches for the design of The Lord of The Rings. The filmmakers Howard Shore has composed evocative music for a long list of motion pictures.
