Module shoulders The purpose of this module is to arrange the shoulders in one and the same position, ready oriented to be put onto the mandrels. Shoulder module is so constructed that it is easily substituted with another one for another size of shoulders.
Types of shoulders used There are a lot of different shoulders in the market. For each different shoulder type you need different module shoulders.
Construction of the module The module consists of: 1 - Vibrated hopper 2- Shute for the shoulders; 3- Supplying mechanism; 4- Electrical connector; 5- Pneumatic connector; 3 2 1 4 5
The module consists of a main plate over which a stand carrying two plates with a hopper (1) installed. Via these plates the position of the bowl feeder is regulated towards the chute (2). Six bushings with rubber pads and springs absorb the hopper's vibrations. Two sensors are installed on the chute. The upper one is for start/stop of the hopper, and the one at the bottom gives a signal to stop the machine. The hopper vibrates with a certain frequency, the intensity of the vibrations is regulated by the phase regulator, the shoulders arrange on the spiral path and fall in the chute. When the chute fills up to the upper sensor (4007) the hopper turns off. When the chute empties under the sensor at the bottom (4006) an error generates that the chute is empty. From potentiometer P01 installed on the panel the productivity of the hopper is regulated. From the chute the shoulders fall in mechanism shoulders (3) which puts them onto the mandrel. It consists of two gates and a supplying head moved by two cylinders. The pneumatic (5) and electric (4) connectors give a possibility for it to be fast and easily dismantled.

Adjustment of position Supplying mechanism 1. The corresponding gauge which is towards the module must be put onto the mandrel; 2. The cylinder which is on the packing position in the front must be manually pushed; 3. The module centers so that the centre of the gauge must stay precisely opposite the centre of the instrument for shoulder supply; 4. The two bolts M12 of the module must be tightened. 5. The tuning of the dampers happens with winding (unwinding) and braking. For a good position is considered this at which in gathered position there remain a 1 – 1,5 mm. stay for the hopper. 6. Tuning of the hopper's frequency. A permanent supply + 24 V feeds to the regulator. With the potentiometer of the box the frequency at which the amplitude of the vibrations is highest is searched after which the supply is recovered.
Module caps Module caps The purpose of this module is to arrange the caps in one and the same position, ready oriented to be screwed or pushed onto the shoulders. Cap module is so constructed that it is easily substituted with another one for another size of caps.
Types of caps used There are a lot of different caps in the market. For each different cap type you need different module cap.

This module has the same options referring installation and dismantling. By its construction it resembles module shoulders with the difference that the hopper A22 is ruled by the phase regulator A33 and the potentiometer P02. It consists of a vibrated hopper ( 1 ), leading chute (3) and a supplying mechanism (4). This mechanism is coupled with a servo-motor for screwing of the caps. The supplying mechanism puts the caps in special jaws with a lever spring mechanism which after its screwing withdraws to its exit position. For the permanent presence of caps in the chute follow the optical sensors (2) which turns on and off the vibrated hopper.
Adjustment of position “Cap screwing” 1. The two bolts M12 loosen on the basic plate of the module; 2. A shoulder is put on the mandrel which is opposite the module; 3. The cylinder which carries the motor ahead is manually pushed; 4. The module centers so that the center of the mandrel must stay precisely opposite the centre of the instrument for screwing of the cap; 5. The two bolts M12 of the module tighten; 6. Tuning of the hopper frequency; 7. The tuning of the whirling moment of the engine happens from the potentiometer of the DC regulator A 37. After the screwing of the cap it must be unscrewed with an effort in compliance with the requirements for it.
Position – “Cap tightening” This mechanism is used when it is necessary to screw the cap with a definite moment. It consists of a gripper guided by VE53; a cylinder feeding the gripper guided by a VE52 and a servomotor M11 guided from a servo- driver A11.
Tuning of a position “Tightening of a cap” 1. The attaching bolts of the module loosen; 2. On the clamps of the gripper jaws are installed for the corresponding cap with waived tires; 3. An air to the gripper is fed so that it must catch the device for tuning № 4. А VE 52 is turned on and the cylinder pushes the gripper ahead; Cylinder Gripper Servomotor 5. The module is centered so that the centre of the mandrel must stay precisely opposite the centre of the device; 6. It is manually pushed beforehand until the pin of the device enter in the opening for air of the mandrel; 7. The bolts of the module are tightened; 8. The sensors 9008 and 9009 are tuned.
Maintenance In order the thorough use of these two modules for a long time to be ensured the tasks for the machine maintenance must be performed carefully and regularly; All activities of servicing of the modules must be executed when they are turned off; The modules must to be maintained clean, as the occurrence of humidity, condense or dust must not be admitted. Every month all of their elements to be cleaned from fabrication dust in spite of the fact if the equipment has worked or has been in demurrage; Cleaning of all photo sensors with dry meek paper or towel; Inspection for leakages on the pneumatic system of the modules;
Maintenance Schedule After 16 000 working hours or after 70mil. tubes all lubricant must to be exchange. Use only recommended lubricant from Fibro manual documents!
Troubleshooting Module shoulders: IrregularityCauseWay of removing 1. The vibrated hopper does not have enough productivity. 1. It works on low frequency. 2. There is a punctured (broken) leaf spring. 1. The potentiometer to be tuned. 2. The spring to be changed.
Troubleshooting 2. The details do not move smoothly through the chute. They stick. 1. Unevenness through the chute. 2. The details are different and/or with different configuration of the sizes towards these with which the machine is tested. 2.1. The chute is polished. 2.2. The details are changed. 3.
