12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance. 13 The LORD looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. 14 From the place of His dwelling He looks On all the inhabitants of the earth; 15 He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works.

PSALM 33: No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. 17 A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. 18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, 19 To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.

AFTER MANY WARNINGS

2 Chronicles 36: And the LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place. 16 But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy. AFTER MANY WARNINGS

Ezekiel 33:11; The Word of the Lord says “I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked.” 1 Peter 3:20; who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.

WHEN THE PEOPLE OF THAT NATION CONTINUALLY REJECT HIS MANY WARNINGS

Romans 1:20-22; For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools…

WHEN THE PEOPLE OF THAT NATION CONTINUALLY REJECT HIS MANY WARNINGS Romans 1:28; And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting.

WHEN THE ATTITUDE OF A NATION IS SCORNFUL TOWARD GOD’S PEOPLE

Jeremiah 38 6 So they took Jeremiah and cast him into the dungeon… and they let Jeremiah down with ropes. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire. So Jeremiah sank in the mire. 28 Now Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison until the day that Jerusalem was taken. And he was there when Jerusalem was taken. WHEN THE ATTITUDE OF A NATION IS SCORNFUL TOWARD GOD’S PEOPLE

Tolerance is a friendly and fair attitude toward differences and the people who hold them. Tolerance (rather than truth) has become the greatest virtue of our day.

WHEN THE ATTITUDE OF A NATION IS SCORNFUL TOWARD GOD’S PEOPLE Tolerance without truth is the camouflage of deception.

WHEN THE ATTITUDE OF A NATION IS SCORNFUL TOWARD GOD’S PEOPLE Luk 6:22-23; Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. 23 Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets. Luke 6:26; Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.
