A Christmas Carol
Scrooge was a cold, hard man. All he cared about was money. He didn’t like people and he hated Christmas. On a Christmas Eve, his dead partner Marley came to see him.
He told Scrooge that he was punished after his death because of his greed and selfishness. He told Scrooge that three ghosts would come to visit him soon.
The first ghost was the Ghost of Past Christmases who showed Scrooge his past to remind him of the people who had made him …
… happy when he was young. He also showed Scrooge how greed had slowly turned him into a heartless man.
The next ghost was the Ghost of Christmas Now. He showed Scrooge how happy people were at Christmas time just because they could spend time with people they loved. …
Scrooge also got to know Bob’s family and his lovely but very weak and dying son, Tiny Tim, and he found himself caring about the little boy immediately.
The last ghost was the scary Ghost of Future Christmases. He showed Scrooge two deaths which people reacted towards very differently. The first one was Scrooge’s own death….
…Not only did no one care about his death but many people were actually very happy that he died. The other death was Tiny Tim’s. …
… Bob and his family loved and missed the boy so much. Scrooge learnt that he must change. After that night, Scrooge became a very generous and kind boss, uncle and man.
