116-2 SMYRNAEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.4 Character is a VICTORY, not a gift. A man without character can't reign because power apart from character is Satanic. But power with character is fit to rule. And since He wants us to share even His throne on the same basis that He overcame and is set down in His Father's throne, then we have to overcome to sit with Him.
CHOOSING.OF.A.BRIDE_ LA.CA V-2 N-28 THURSDAY_ 65-0429E 28-2 He's looking for her character, the character of Christ. 29-1 It's got to be His same flesh, same bones, same Spirit, same everything, just exactly built up, and them two then become one. Until the church becomes that, they're not one. The character of Him, the Word for this age, must be molded... She must be molded like He is.
Character is a victory God chooses by character He is the Refiner’s Fire
WE.HAVE.SEEN.HIS.STAR_ TUCSON.AZ V-13 N-8 MONDAY_ 63-1216 46 He is the great Refiner's Furnace, that where He has to put these things upon us, and trials, and persecutions and things to mold it together to make our testimony ring for a certain time, and a certain note that He wants rang out in a certain day.
SEEKING.AFTER.JESUS_ CONNERSVILLE.IN SUNDAY_ 53-0531 E-11 If I told you the Spirit of Christ was in me, I must act like Jesus. You must act like Jesus. Your character and conduct must be molded like that. And the Holy Spirit molds that conduct when He comes into you, when you're really borned again of the Spirit of God.
Character is a victory God chooses by character He is the Refiner’s Fire His Life in you, the Holy Spirit, wins the victory
JOHN 5:19...The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. JOHN 14:10...but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

GO.WAKE.JESUS_ TUCSON.AZ SUNDAY_ 63-1103 E-52 And maybe these troubles is only done... Maybe the revival has let up to see what we'll do about it. Maybe sickness struck you. "This cause not was nobody's sin, but that the works of God might be made known." How do we know if these things happen? Nothing happens in--just commonly. It's not without God knowing it. He knows it. He knowed it at the beginning. And these things happen because it's a test of faith.... Maybe it might be tonight that some here has got sickness, and it's a test of faith to see what you'll do about it.
ACTS 17:28 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
JOHN 14:19 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
PHILIPPIANS 2:13 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure.
80-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 "Who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks." How meaningful are those words when viewed in the light of the Scripture, which describes Him as "Christ Who is our Life". For Christ, indeed, is the life of the church. She has no other life. Without Him she is simply a religious society, a club, a meaningless gathering of the people. As a corpse bejeweled and dressed is still a corpse, so the church, no matter what her programs and her gracious efforts might achieve, without Christ she is a corpse also. But with Him in her midst, with Him motivating her, she becomes to the wonderment of all "His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all." And this very hour He is walking in the midst of the last age's golden candlestick. What He was as He walked in the first age He is even now in this last age. Jesus Christ the SAME, YESTERDAY, and TODAY, and FOREVER.
80-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 The true church of Jesus Christ, the bride, is likened to PURE gold. Her righteousness is HIS righteousness. Her attributes are HIS own glorious attributes. Her identity is found in Him. What He is, she is to reflect. What He has, she is to manifest. There is no fault in her. She is all glorious within and without. From beginning to ending she is the work of her Lord, and all His works are perfect. In fact in her is summed up and manifested the eternal wisdom and purpose of God. How can one fathom it? How can one understand it? Though we cannot do that, we can accept it by faith, for God hath spoken it.
80-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 And as gold is malleable, whereas brass will break with the beating, this gold of God will bear her suffering for the Lord, not bowed, not broken, not destroyed, but formed as a thing of beauty and a joy forever by the trials and testings of this life.
II CORINTHIANS 6:4 4 But in all [things] approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, 5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; 6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, 7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and [yet] true; 9 As unknown, and [yet] well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; 10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and [yet] possessing all things.
REVELATION 2:2 2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: 3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. REVELATION 2:6 6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
80-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 No matter how just and upright a Christian is before the public, and how gracious he is to his fellow man, doing naught but good, let him confess Christ as his Saviour and acknowledge the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in tongues, prophecy, healing and miracles, and he will be condemned. The spirit of this world hates the Spirit of God, and because it can't overcome the Spirit of the Lord it tries to destroy the vessel in whom the Spirit of Truth dwells.
80-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 Persecution and trials are a natural, normal part of the Christian life. There is only one thing you can do about them. Commit them all to God, judge not, and leave their outworking and final judgment to Him.
80-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 They were a separated people. They had come out of the world, and now they weren't going to let the world enter amongst them. They would not put up with sin in the church. Holiness wasn't a phrase with them or a figure of speech; it was a way of life.
80-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 Here it is in Galatians 1:8, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have (already) preached unto you, let him be accursed." It was the apostles who brought the original Word to the people. That original Word could not change, not even a dot or dash of it. Paul knew it was God Who had spoken to him so he said, "Even if I come and try to give a second revelation, try to make one little change in what I gave originally, let me be accursed." You see, Paul knew that first revelation was correct.
80-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 And see what those false apostles were doing. They came with their own word. Those Ephesians knew that Word as Paul had taught it. They were full of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of Paul's hands. They looked those false apostles in the eye and said, "You are not saying what Paul said. You are, therefore, false." Oh, that sets my heart on fire. Get back to the Word! It is not you that really tries the apostle, and prophet and teacher, IT IS THE WORD THAT TRIES THEM.
80-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 In that last age, when there will be many false prophets appearing, watch and see how they keep telling you that if you don't believe them and what they say, you will be lost; but when that LAST DAY PROPHET comes on the scene, if he is truly that prophet, he will be crying out, "Get back to the Word or you are lost." He won't build on a private revelation or interpretation, but on the Word. Amen, and Amen!
Acts 20: " For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things (their own word and ideas, not God's) to draw away disciples after them.”
80-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 That is antichrist, for Jesus is the Word. To be anti-Word is to be anti-Jesus. To be anti-Word is to be antichrist, because the Spirit and the Word are ONE. If you are anti- Word, you will have to be antichrist. AND IF IT STARTED IN THE FIRST CHURCH IT WILL HAVE TO GROW UNTIL THE END WHEN IT TAKES OVER.
85-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 It is the changing of even just ONE word by taking away or adding to it.
GREATEST.BATTLE.EVER.FOUGHT_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-11 SUNDAY_ 62-0311 20-1 You can have little consciences, and little feelings, and little sensations, all these things; that has nothing to do with it. That's just little sensations and things. But when it comes to reality, your mind opens it up. Your mind either accepts it or rejects it. That's it, friends. God, let none of them miss it. See? It's your mind that opens up the door, or closes the door, and listens to your conscience, listens to your memory, listens to your affections. But when your mind closes itself to these things and let God, the Spirit of His Word, come in, It blows the rest of the stuff out. Every doubt is gone; every fear is gone; every sensation of doubt is gone; every feeling is gone. There's nothing standing there but the Word of God, and Satan cannot battle against That. No, sir! He cannot battle against It. Now, we know that's Truth.
HARVEST.TIME_ PHOENIX.AZ V-18 N-6 SATURDAY_ 64-1212 102 It's a chain. You're hanging over hell with it, and that's the only thing that'll carry you through. When the believer becomes a make-believer and lives on one word that's contrary to this Word, he cuts his fellowship with God. One link broke... And, remember, your faith in this Word is like a chain. A chain is its strongest at its weakest link. That's right. It's the strongest that, 'cause that's all it'll hold. And if there's something in the Word that's puzzling to you, something that you have heard different, but they said, "The... Oh, that was for the apostles, and them things was for days gone by," when the Scripture said Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, don't let that be a weakness. Fortify it and hold it, and wrap your life into it, because that's the only thing that'll take you over the flames of hell. That's right.
WHY.IT.HAD.TO.BE.SHEPHERDS_ TUCSON.AZ V-6 N-15 MONDAY_ 64-1221 178 Jesus came in the middle the Book, and said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." That was the middle of the Book. The last of the Book, He said, "Whosoever shall take one Word (mistranslate one Word), take one Word out of Here, I'll take his part from the Book of Life." You're passing over hell, hanging on the Word of God. Don't you let somebody squeeze something into you that's not THUS SAITH THE LORD.
REJECTED.KING_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-23 SUNDAY_ 60-0515M 22-4 Said, "You were sent for a leader. And God will come, and when He does, He'll judge you according to what you taught them, first; whether they go in or not. We'll go in according to your teaching." I said, "Oh, I'm so glad. Did Paul, does he have to stand like this? Does Peter have to stand like this?" "Yes." I said, "Then I've preached every word that they preached. I never divvied from it one side to the other. Where they baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, I did too. Where they taught the baptism of the Holy Ghost, I did too. Whatever they taught, I did too." And them people screamed and said, "We know that, and we know we're going with you someday back to earth."
87-2 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3 "... And for My Name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted." These believers weren't laboring for Paul, or for an organization. They weren't committed to programs and institutions whereby they built up holdings of value. They worked for the Lord. They were His servants, not the pawns of organization. They didn't go to church on Sunday and talk about that Name and then forget it the rest of the week. They didn't give lip service to that Name. No Sir. It was their lives that were given. All they did, they did in that Name. In that Name they acted, but if they could not act in that Name, then they refrained from acting. These were heavenly placed Christians whose behaviour was in the Lord.
