2 Title and Identification MLA does NOT require a title page. On the first page, place your name, instructor, course/section #, and date on separate lines against the upper left margin. On the following line, Center your title The title should not be bold faced, underlined, in quotes, or italicized. Format titles of works as required Begin paper on next line.

4 1 Inch margins ALL AROUND Adjust Defaults if Necessary Left align text DO NOT justify the paragraphs INDENT the 1 st line of each new paragraph one-half inch from the left margin (about 1 tab space)
