Exchange Programs Ewha and Sookmyung Women’s Universities, Seoul, South Korea Summer school opportunities for both men and women to study Korea more in depth. Courses are offered in a variety of categories (history, art, literature, economics, medicine, etc.). Cornell-approved students do not pay tuition for either program, but are responsible for airfare, visa, and (in some cases) accommodation costs. Exchange Program in Northern Ireland Students may apply for a semester or year-long exchange with one of these Northern Irish Universities through the Irish-American Scholars Program. Students may take classes in business, marketing, computing, education, performing arts, communication and Irish studies. Other Funding Sources Gilman Scholarship Pell Grant-eligible students studying abroad Average award $4000 Critical Language Scholarship Fully-funded summer language institutes. Participants are expected to continue their language study beyond the scholarship period, and later apply their critical language skills in their future professional careers.
