As your teacher I will do all I can to help you meet and exceed the standards for this course, but ultimately the responsibility rests on you. Always put forth your best effort. I expect great things from you! Materials Required: 1G Flash/jump drive will be helpful with power points and essays; highlighter; composition notebook; AVID materials (please refer to separate list). Wish List: Paper towels, index cards, color markers, tissues, construction paper, glue, art paper, baby wipes or “Clorox” wipes (great for the white boards, phones, desks, computers, etc.) Please do not feel obligated to go out and buy these items; we can certainly use any of these if you already have extras around the house Due to budget issues and number of copies we’re allowed, you will be required to print or download/handwrite materials from my school center page. Everyone is facing hard times right now in some way or another. Let me know if you’re having trouble and I can help. You will have access to school computers.
Enjoy the Adventure! Please let me know if you have any questions at all. If I don’t have the answer, I will find it for you. Please take a moment to walk around the room and see what goes on in a literature class- it’s pretty awesome!! I am looking forward to a great year with you!
