Just as the cell wall of a plant protects the cell, the Great Wall of China protects the Chinese.
Like the fence of an arena keeps everything in the arena, the cell membrane of the cell keeps everything inside the cell.
Just as a traffic cop keeps the cars from crashing into one another, the cytoplasm of a cell keeps the organelles from smashing into each other.
Like the vacuole of a cell stores food and water, a thermos holds food and liquids.
Just as a boss at work would tell her employees to do their jobs, the nucleus of a cell tells the rest of the organelles how to function.
Just as a power plant gives energy to a city, the mitochondria gives energy to the cell.
Like a butcher produces meat which contains proteins the ribosomes of a cell produce protein.
Just as a golgi body transfers waste out of the lysosome, a toilet transfers waste to the sewer.
Just as a chef makes food, the chloroplast makes food or chlorophyll for the cell.
Just as lysosomes deposits waste outside of the cell, the sewer deposits waste in the designated areas.
Just as a subway must go through the underground tunnels, the organelles must travel through the endoplasmic reticulum.
Cell Structure and Function. Cell Membrane Regulates what enters and leaves the cell.

CELL THEORY: 1. All living things are composed of cells. 2. Cells are the basic units of structure and function in living things. 3. All cells are produced.

A Cell Is Like a Dirtbike By. Dylan Wood. The Nucleus is like the rider, they control the cell/dirtbike.
Cytoplasm Jellylike substance Constantly moving in the cell.
Cells Meredith Thompson. A cell is like… A cell is like a mall, because without all the parts (organelles), nothing would function right.

Organelles What I Need To Know. Prokaryotes are very simple, single celled organisms. These cells have no nucleus, and very few organelles. They've got.
Cells. All living things are made up of cells Cells are the building blocks of life Organization Organ Systems Organs Tissues Cells Tissues are made of.
Biology 133. Cell Parts and Functions Cell Membrane Protects the cell Lets things in and out of the cell Location: around the cell Nucleus Control center.

Cell Organelles © J Beauchemin Cell Organelles Organelle= “little organ” Found only inside eukaryotic cells All the stuff in between the organelles.
Structures and Functions. Cells work together to form tissues. Tissues work together to form organs. Organs work together to form organ systems.
