Faversham Gateway to the East Kent Triangle In 2009 Elizabeth Carter, editor of The Good Food Guide and her contributors “identified an area of excellence known as “the East Kent Triangle””. “With Faversham forming one corner, Whitstable and Canterbury the others, it features not just acclaimed restaurants, but fishmongers, cheesemakers and markets to rival those of Ludlow – the Shropshire town that a decade ago became the epicentre of British gastronomy due to its galaxy of Michelin stars.”

We want to enrich our town Build reputation and attract repeat visitors – the FFF is only 3 days each year, increase regular trade
We want to involve Local shopkeepers, restaurants, cafes, pubs. Local producers – from farms and hop gardens to brewers, cider makers, cheese, ice-cream … Allotments, Physic Garden & Health Photographers, artists, the churches and schools Oxfam, Transition Towns, Friends of the Earth We aspire to provide an umbrella – to enable as many businesses and groups as possible to participate
We want to hear from you… Friday and Saturday markets – integrated into the Faversham Food Festival Sunday a local food and drink market Craft beer, wine, cider, spirits, liqueurs Sausage Trail Food & Drink Treasure Hunt ……. Land Fish and hold a fish market Talks and meet the producer events in the week leading up to and after the Festival weekend. We’d like you to be part of this. Join us?
