Chapter 2 - Forces Lesson 1 – The Nature of Force

2
What is Force? Like velocity and acceleration, a force is described by its strength and by the direction in which it acts. The strength of a force is measured in the SI unit called the Newton (N). This unit of measurement was named after the English scientist and mathematician Issac Newton.
