Because of the change of climate, few foods could be taken. Giraffe had to take leaves as foods but not grass. If they wanted to get much more foods, they had to tiptoe and crane their necks. Then their neck and leg become longer gradually and they become the tallest vertebrate in the world. DALIAN JINSHITAN MYSTEROUS LIFE MUSEUM

Brown bear is one of the largest carnivorous mammals on the land. It runs faster because of its stronger muscles. Muscles of brown bear’s back are very stronger and are the main source of forelimb strength. Brown bear is known as the "King of the land".

DALIAN JINSHITAN MYSTEROUS LIFE MUSEUM The camel has long four limbs, soft and wide feet, suitable for walking in sand. It has cutin pad at the chest and knee, which supports the body when kneeling down. The camel’s hump accumulates fatty tissues instead of water. The camel strikes the balance with water in muscles to adapt to hot weather, lack of water and other unfavorable environment in desert.

Stomach started to appear in fish In order to improve the digestion power, some reptiles such as crocodile and turtle have fine gravels and gastrolith in the stomach that can grind food A part of esophagus in some birds is transformed to crop, which has the function of storing temporarily and softening food Dog’s intestine has thick walls and strong ability of absorption, which helps dogs to digest meat. Whale has a form of stomach like terrestrial ruminant, i.e. having four chambers, but doesn’t ruminate. The stomach is the most dilated portion of the digestive canal. The gastric mucosa secretes digestive enzymes, hydrochloric acid and mucus

DALIAN JINSHITAN MYSTEROUS LIFE MUSEUM rumen reticulum omasum abomasum cecum Cow’s stomach is comprised of rumen, reticulum, omasum and abomasum. First three parts are formed by enlargement of esophagus and only abomasum could produce main gastric fluid. When food enters into rumen and reticulum, they ferment under the influence of bacteria and protozoon to decompose plant fiber and protein. Food in rumen and reticulum returns to the oval cavity for second chewing. Such a behavior is called rumination.

Here, you will meet them by chance DALIAN JINSHITAN MYSTEROUS LIFE MUSEUM
