Surah al-Imran 3:42-55 42 And when the angels said: O Maryam! surely Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the world. 43 O Maryam! keep to obedience to your Lord and humble yourself, and bow down with those who bow. 44 This is of the announcements relating to the unseen which We reveal to you; and you were not with them when they cast their pens (to decide) which of them should have Maryam in his charge, and you were not with them when they contended one with another. 45 When the angels said: O Maryam, surely Allah gives you good news with a Word from Him (of one) whose name is the Messiah, Isa son of Maryam, worthy of regard in this world and the hereafter and of those who are made near (to Allah)

Surah al-Imran 3:42-55 46 And he shall speak to the people when in the cradle and when of old age, and (he shall be) one of the good ones. 47 She said: My Lord! when shall there be a son (born) to me, and man has not touched me? He said: Even so, Allah creates what He pleases; when He has decreed a matter, He only says to it, Be, and it is. 48 And He will teach him the Book and the wisdom and the Taurat and the Injil. 49 And (make him) an apostle to the children of Israel: That I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I determine for you out of dust like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird with Allah’s permission and I heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life with Allah’s permission and I

Surah al-Imran 3:42-55 inform you of what you should eat and what you should store in your houses; most surely there is a sign in this for you, if you are believers. 50 And a verifier of that which is before me of the Taurat and that I may allow you part of that which has been forbidden you, and I have come to you with a sign from your Lord therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah and obey me. 51 Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore serve Him; this is the right path. 52 But when Isa perceived unbelief on their part, he said “Who will be my helpers in Allah’s way?” The disciples said: We are helpers (in the way) of Allah: We believe in Allah and bear witness that we are submitting ones (literally in Arabic, “muslims”).

Surah al-Imran 3:42-55 53 Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed and we follow the apostle, so write us down with those who bear witness. 54 And they planned and Allah (also) planned, and Allah is the best of planners. 55 And when Allah said: O Isa, I am going to terminate the period of your stay (on earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you differed.

13. An Obstacle to Expect “Yes, but the Bible (Injil) has been changed.” Your Response: “What does the Qur’an say about that? Please look at: Surah 6:115 and 10:94

14. Has the Bible been changed? Surah 6:115 “Perfected is the Word of the Lord in truth and justice. There is nothing that can change His words. He is the hearer and the knower.”

15. Has the Bible been changed? Surah 10:94 “If you are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto you, then question those who read the Scripture before you. Verily the Truth from the Lord has come unto you so be not of the waverers.”

16. Expect This Question “What about the Prophet Mohammed? Who do you say he is?”

17. How to Answer Surah 46:9 Say: “I am no new thing among the messengers of Allah, nor know I what will be done with me or with you. I do but follow that which is inspired in me, and I am but a plain warner.” “I agree with what the Qur’an says about Mohammed. Would you read Surah 46:9?”

18. So, according to the Qur’an: 1.Mohammed is not greater than the prophets who came before him. 2.He doesn’t know what will happen to him or his followers. 3.He is only a warner.

19. Contrast this with Isa Isa also said, “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto Myself that where I am there you may be also.” John 14:1-5 Isa said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, but by me.” John 14:6

20. Bridge to the Injil According to the Qur’an, we should obey Isa’s commands. What are Isa’s commands? Remember what we read in Surah 3:50? 50 Isa said… “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah and obey me.”
