The lines danced before her eyes, but she knew what she was reading by heart.”  Experience some sort of resurrection through FAITH  Allow them to end their spiritual corruption

6 Jesus  Self-sacrifice and faith  Sonia’s true faith in God allows her to survive even though she is doing so poorly in society  Degrades herself to support family  Continues to support Raskolnikov after admits to terrible crime
