7. 1 Corinthians 14:26-40 Orderly Worship 26 What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two— or at the most three— should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret.

21. 1 – WE MEET TOGETHER TO STRENGTHEN THE CHURCH ALL have something to contribute… Control yourself… give, don't just take. Strive to be understood and to be encouraging to others.

22. 2 –WE MEET TOGETHER IN AN ORDERLY WAY… 32-33a – it’s not about being dull, it’s not about being unprepared and ‘spontaneous’… The Holy Spirit is a God of order, and he helps those who make careful plans!

23. 3 – WE MEET TOGETHER UNDER CHRIST’S AUTHORITY Authority does not rest in the men, or in the women… but in God’s WORD. ‘Weighing’ prophecy is a job for the male leadership of the church. We need the authority of God’s true apostles… to build us all up.
