1 The high-octane, high up, 3D Hoverboard racing game! Joshua Holbrook, Tyler Miller, Lars Osborne

2 In our game, you stand on a hover- board and race around a track suspended in air, over lava. “The biggest schmuck of the year”- Mad Magazine “It’s good”- Dan Powers

4 Began with 50’ x 50’ VR room program. Added hover-board Made forward movement faster, Changed room into track Added lava field And, wha-la! A racing game!

5 Makes objects “solid”. It’s hard. Here’s why: 1.Computer must figure out where hover-board can go by solving geometric equations. 2.When collision occurs, board must be stopped at edge of wall, or bounce off wall.

6 We skipped that. So, the driver could go 50 ft. over lava, but oh, well. In closing…

7 All the 3D screensavers that come with Windows are made with OpenGL.

8 Quake III, Unreal, Unreal Tournament, and UT 2K3 were OpenGL-made.

9 OpenGL works with virtually every platform, including Linux. Linux  OpenGL!
