About Siechem Siechem is India’s No.1 specialty wire and cable manufacturer. Plant in Pondicherry, spread over 100,000 sq feet. Man Power : 300 + Head office at Chennai. Customers spread across India and exports to 24 countries. In house R&D, Testing lab, Compounding, Complete manufacturing from 8 mm copper rod to finished cable. Production capacity: 500,000 meters (assorted sizes) of wires & cables per day. Progress Report: Established in 2000. Initially engaged in JFTC Cables till 2005. Electron beam & specialty cable facility built in 2006. R&D, Trial run, Type testing, Approvals - 2007 to 2010. Become no.1 in Solar segment in India in 2011 and a little of orders from Railways, Automotive, Marine, Flexibles and other segments. In Solar, Railway, Offshore, marine, shipboard & Boat cable segments established as leading player in 2012. Establishing in Automotive, Battery & specialty wires like PVDF,ETFE, PEEK, FEP & PFA segments from 2013. 2 nd Beam center commissioned in Aug 2014. Targeting to reach in-house wire & cable production of 1 million meters a day from Dec 2014 Siechem TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD.

In-House Electron Beam Cross Linking The suitably formulated insulation / sheath material is subjected to high energy electron beam (E-beam) irradiation. The long linear molecules gets linked with adjacent chain segments and forms a three dimensional polymeric network.
