18 DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES Initially department has started an association called “SPIRIT” in the year 1 st Mar SPIRIT …… desire to excel Under SPIRIT we have conducted several events like:  National Level Techno Fest – PRAZASTI-2K12(Flex preparation, paper presentation,rangoli,quiz,food festival)  Celebrated Engineers Day(falicitation to Dr.V.ChandraMouli)  Conducted Dept. Recreation Club activities(Rangoli, paints, etc..)

19 FACULTY CREDENTIALS Mr. M. Bhanu Prakash got state 12 th rank in PGECET-2011(CSE &IT). Mr.G.Venkata Prasad has learned the latest Technology DW&DM tools(Abinitio, WEKA). Mr.G.Venkata Prasad being as a co-ordinator for the Wipro-Machine 10x conducted the program(5+2 days) succesfully. Mr.G.Venkata Prasad received a first prize in ‘volley ball’ and Runner up’s in cricket. Mr.Khaja Masthan won the chess 2 nd price.

20 STUDENT REFRESHMENTS …. personality development III-IT students has attended one day programme- “COMPASS TO CAREERS IN ENGINEERING” in jntuh( ). Every year department conducts Fresher’s parties for the students. Participating in the Group Discussions & debates in the class. Encouraging the students to come with new creative ideas in Technologies(respectives).

21 ADDED STRENGTHS Mini & Main projects with less economy(mini-Rs.1000 & main-Rs.1800) - acclimation-Versatile Technologies. Providing resource persons to other department (CSE, ECE,&MBA)course. Maximum ratification in the small count of department. Lead in results by less number of faculty and more workload. Separate departmental library for faculties. In wherever be our dept. faculties the results follows us, it is IT dept. strength. Most of the faculties were pursing higher education. Initiation of Faculty-Club-(To improve Human relationships). College topper is itself from IT department(Sayanthan Mandal ). Dept. is proud to say that most of the students got selected for Finishing School in our college.

22 READY TO FACE CHALLENGES Ready to take in any college fest-national, international seminars, workshops & conferences. Can compete in any environment. Motivate the students to improve their entrepreneur ship. Take up any sort of UG & PG courses. Our Dept. is ready to take any challenges.

23 THINGS TO BE IMPROVED Department is in need of Doctorates. Increase the strengths of MOU with the industries. Inviting international resource persons to the department for the improvement of organization. We have to organize more and more Guest Lecturers/industry professionals. Improve our ethics, values & maturity levels in the succession of professional career.

24 GRIEVANCES Separate cabin facility for faculty. Departmental budget should be granted for improvement.
