38 Conclusions, so far The vast majority of these students from Queens went to public high school, particularly Jamaica HS, Flushing HS, and Bryant HS There aren’t a particularly large number of Jewish last names in this group of students

39 Some possible next steps Some of the transcripts I found had the student’s father/guardian’s name I can look for the family in a directory and find the father’s occupation What social class were these students from? I might want to spend more time looking at how the students got to Barnard from Queens (subway, LIRR, etc.)
