Stereotyping in Othello Do we see any instances of Othello being stereotyped in the play? Has he done anything to deserve being called these kinds of names? How do the authorities in the play see Othello? What do they think of him?

Going back to Oedipus, what rhetorical devices or public speaking techniques did he employ to make him an effective speaker? Now think about Iago who is not the only character to use rhetoric but seems to be the master of it. What rhetorical devices do we see from him and from the play overall?
