2   Psalms 51:10-12  Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Restoring The Joy of Your Salvation

4   Ephesians 4:17-19  So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. (NASB) A Calloused Heart

5   1 Timothy 4:2  “by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,”  How is the heart hardened?  not listening to the voice of God as He speaks from His word.  ignoring the need to change.  making excuses as to why you’re O.K. A Calloused Heart

6   Wrong Speech  Lying  Ephesians 4:26  Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.  Unwholesome talk  Ephesians 4:29  Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Unrepented Sins

7   Wrong Speech  Slander  Ephesians 4:31  Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.  Cussing and foolish talk  Ephesians 5:3-4  But among you there impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. Unrepented Sins

8   Wrong Thinking  Anger  Ephesians 4:26  “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,  Psalm 4:4  Be angry [or stand in awe] and sin not; commune with your own hearts upon your beds and be silent (sorry for the things you say in your hearts). (Amplified Version)  Ephesians 4:31  Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Unrepented Sins

9   Wrong Thinking  Stealing  Ephesians 4:28  Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. Unrepented Sins

10   Wrong Commitments  Ephesians 5:5  For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.  Immorality  Impurity  Greed  James 4:17  If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them. Unrepented Sins

11   Ephesians 4:32  Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Unforgiveness

12   Hebrews 6:12  We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. Laziness/Procrastination

13   Matthew 23:27-28  “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. Living the Dual Life

14   Philippians 4:11-13  I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.  Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Being Controlled by Life’s Situation
