Office of Rural Affairs An office designed to assist rural Indiana to fully participate as viable communities in the global economic market. The Office of Rural Affairs currently offers assistance through: Leadership Development High Speed Communications Community Block Grant Development and Grants Management Indiana Rural Development Council Indiana Main Street Program Indiana Rural Health Strategic Development “Serving Indiana’s rural communities through technical, financial and personal assistance”
75 percent of Indiana’s communities are rural and many have yet to access broadband services. Access to high speed communications can help rural communities be more economically competitive and improve their quality of life
