2 Jesus spoke these words to describe Satan. “He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” (John 8:44 Modern King James Version)

3 THERE ARE FACTS THAT EVERY CHILD OF GOD MUST KNOW ABOUT SATAN AKA “D” -EVIL

4 When we look closely at the name devil something stands out. The thing that stands out is the word “evil.” Therefore, we know that the devil is associated with evil and that the devil is evil because the primary word in the name devil is “evil.” All of the evil actions of the devil are represented in the letter “D” that is found before the word evil.

5 SATAN AKA “D”-EVIL DID AND DOES EVIL DIGESTS AND DESIGNS EVIL DESIGNATES AND DESIRES EVIL DECLARES AND DECREES EVIL DEDICATES AND DEFENDS EVIL DIVULGES AND DEMANDS EVIL DELIGHTS IN AND DEMONSTRATES EVIL DISCHARGES AND DISTRIBUTES EVIL DREAMS AND DREDGES UP EVIL DELIVERS AND DIRECTS EVIL

7 W HEN WE ANALYZE THE LETTER “D” WE DISCOVER THAT THE D EVIL IS : DIRTY (filthy, polluted, unclean) DISGUSTING (nauseating, sickening) DECREPIT (decaying, dilapidated) DEADLY (fatal, lethal, poisonous) DECEITFUL (cunning, lying, untrustworthy)

8 W HEN WE EVALUATE THE LETTER “E” WE FIND THAT THE D E VIL IS : EGOTISTICAL (arrogant, bigheaded, self-centered) EMPTY (bare, blank, unfilled) ENEMY (adversary, foe, opponent) ENMITY (bad feeling, hate, hostility)

9 W HEN WE LOOK CLOSELY AT THE LETTER “V” WE CAN SEE THAT THE DE V IL IS : VACANT (devoid of love, peace, life, salvation & redemption) VAIN (conceited, self-admiring & self-worshiping) VAMP (invents & fabricates lies) VANDAL (willfully destroys & damages)

10 W HEN WE INVESTIGATE THE LETTER “I” WE LEARN THAT THE DEV I L IS : ILLICIT (unlawful) INTERFERENCE (hindrance, meddling, obstruction) IMPORTUNATE (troublesome-wants to cause trouble) IMPOSTER (assumes identity or title not his own for the purpose of deception) INCENDIARY (a person who excites quarrels; an agitator)

11 F INALLY, WHEN WE LOOK AT THE LETTER “L” WE CAN TELL THAT THE DEVI L IS A : LOW-DOWN (mean, rotten, unkind) LACK-LUSTER (dreary, uninspiring) LAME (crippled, disabled, unsatisfactory) LEWD (rude, vulgar) LUSTFUL (immoral, shameless) LAUGHINGSTOCK (clown, fool, joke) LEECH (parasite and a hanger on who seeks, clings to and bleeds another for his own gain)

12 God’s children must always remember what His Word conveys regarding evil. Our Father declares in Psalm 91:9-11: “Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.”

13 God wants his children to know that they have power over that low down dirty devil. We have proof that we have power over the devil in Luke 10:19. For Christ says, “BEHOLD I GIVE UNTO YOU POWER TO TREAD ON SERPENTS AND SCORPIONS, AND OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY; AND NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT YOU.”

14 When that low down, dirty devil tries to bruise your heel with one of his evil devices, you have the go ahead from the Lord to use the power and put him under your feet.

15 W HEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRUISE YOUR HEEL WITH ANGER, PUT HIM UNDER YOUR FEET WITH THE POWER OF KINDNESS W HEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRUISE YOUR HEEL WITH CONFUSION, PUT HIM UNDER YOUR FEET WITH THE POWER OF PEACE W HEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRUISE YOUR HEEL WITH DESPERATION, PUT HIM UNDER YOUR FEET WITH THE POWER OF TEMPERANCE

16 W HEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRUISE YOUR HEEL WITH FEAR, PUT HIM UNDER YOUR FEET WITH THE POWER OF FAITH W HEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRUISE YOUR HEEL WITH HATE, PUT HIM UNDER YOUR FEET WITH THE POWER OF LOVE W HEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRUISE YOUR HEEL WITH JEALOUSY, PUT HIM UNDER YOUR FEET WITH THE POWER OF TRUST W HEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRUISE YOUR HEEL WITH LIES, PUT HIM UNDER YOUR FEET WITH THE POWER OF TRUTH

17 W HEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRUISE YOUR HEEL WITH DEATH, PUT HIM UNDER YOUR FEET WITH THE POWER OF RESURRECTION W HEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRUISE YOUR HEEL WITH INIQUITY, PUT HIM UNDER YOUR FEET WITH THE POWER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS W HEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRUISE YOUR HEEL WITH SICKNESS, PUT HIM UNDER YOUR FEET WITH THE POWER OF HEALING W HEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRUISE YOUR HEEL WITH SIN, PUT HIM UNDER YOUR FEET WITH THE POWER OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
