Agenda Quick intro to Citrix AppDNA 6 What, why and how? DEMO Aftermath
Quick intro to AppDNA 6 What? Tool to check application compatibility in certain scenarios Why? Because nobody really knows every app there is How? Tests apps against certain rule-sets / modules Down to API calls, OS requirements, drivers and services Makes a statement about app compatibility for different goals in your project or day to day work Can I stream my application with App-V? Does it work on x64? Can also help with migration decisions
Aftermath AppDNA can help you qualify apps for certain scenarios Depending on your configured „forward paths“ and „task scripts“ you can further automate the „migration“ process Create App-V packages Create Citrix Streaming profiles Create MSIs with Admin Studio Create reports … I wouldn‘t want to let it sequence every app, because of standard packaging rules in „task script“ Task Script can execute any script you want, also Powershell It won‘t replace a human‘s brain! ;)
Thanks for your attention and have fun at the other sessions!
