7Seminary MergerStarting September 2012, the Archdiocese of New York, the Diocese of Brooklyn, and the Diocese of Rockville Centre will begin their joint operating agreement.Candidates for the priesthood at the graduate level will participate in a single program of priestly formation at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Yonkers, NYThe Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington, NY will renew and extend academic programs offered to lay women and men and some candidates for the permanent diaconate, as well as the ongoing formation for clergy.The undergraduate and pre-theology students from the three dioceses will continue at the Cathedral Residence of the Immaculate Conception in Douglaston, NY.
