4 Changing Mixed Numbers to Improper Fractions How do we change mixed numbers to an improper fractionsLet’s say I have 2 ½ pizzas. How many pizzas do I have as an improper fraction?
5 Improper FractionsStep 1: Multiply your denominator by your whole number ( 2 x 2 = 4)Step 2: Take the number you got from multiplying your denominator and whole and add that to your numerator ( 4 +1 = 5)Step 3: Use the number you received from adding and put it over your denominator( 5/2)
