2. You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment.

11. Yet even in his disease he did not seek the L ORD, but sought help from physicians.

12. I’m disappointed in myself.

13. I let people down.

14. I don’t measure up to other people.

15. I don’t have a list of accomplishments (or even things I’d like to accomplish).

16. Don’t confuse your disappointments; with believing you are a disappointment.

17. God sees our disappointments, but He doesn’t see us as a disappointment.

18. God is not disappointed in us; but He is disappointed for us.

19. Start with confession, not trying harder.

20. Psalm 32:3; 5 When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long. 5 I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.

21. Live for God’s approval; not man’s.

22. Galatians 1:10 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.

23. See yourself as a child; not as a hired hand.

24. Galatians 4:1; 7 I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything….. 7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

25. Hear His delight in you, not His disgust with you.

26. Zephaniah 3:17 The L ORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
