3Titanic FactsThe Titanic was built in Ireland. It took three years to build the ship. Construction was completed in the year 1912.The ship was built as a luxury liner with four restaurants, two barber shops, two libraries, a fully equipped gymnasium and photographic darkroom.It had 840 staterooms and nine decks."You could actually walk miles along the decks and passages covering different ground all the time.
