School Library System Mission Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES School Library System is a consortium of professionals and staff who provide vision, leadership, and service to the educational community. We continue to focus on excellence in providing access to information, sharing resources and developing life-long learners.
Plan Of Service 2006-2011 Planning document – identifies, organizes and provides overview of services. Role for Systems – support and strengthen member libraries, equitable access, facilitate resource sharing, provide leadership. Agreement – between State and governing board, enumerate mutual commitments, share in system ’ s mission, evaluation of services.

Administrator/Advocate of the Year Award The Onondaga-Cortland-Madison School Library System’s intention is to honor an individual in the OCM region who has made significant contributions to school librarianship. The award will be given to an individual in an educational setting in the OCM School Library System region that has demonstrated innovative initiatives in the area of school libraries and librarianship.
