What is involved: Prepare for autopsies and obtain medical records. Help with a autopsy, under pathologists watch. Dissect, examine, weigh and photograph organs. Prepare tissue sections for examination under a microscope.
Education : Must have a post secondary qualification and may need certification by Canadian Society Of Medical Laboratory Science Bachelor of science or medical laboratory technology. Also a period of supervised training. Must registered by provincial regulatory body in New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.
