2 OLDI data impacted by 2012 FPL 1. Equipment Capability and Status 4 Items currently specified in OLDI messages Mandatory RVSM 8.33 KHz/UHF Bilaterally agreed Mode S B-RNAV/P-RNAV 2. Co-ordination point and Route- Reference point for range and bearing
3 Current OLDI (Edition 4.1) Equipment capability and status in Basic messages (ABI, ACT, etc.) RVSM- letter W 8.33 KHZ/UHF- Letters Y/U Mode S - Letters S and I B-RNAV/PRNAV- Letters R and P Fix (three letters) for reference point for range and bearing
4 OLDI after FPL 2012 Equipment capability and status in Basic messages (ABI, ACT, etc.) RVSM - letter W- no change 8.33 KHZ/UHF - Letters Y/U no change Mode S- Letters E, H, I, L and S B-RNAV/PRNAV- Letter R for PBN approved and combination of letters and digits in Item 18 Significant point (five letters) as reference for range and bearing (as co-ordination point or in route description)
5 System changes 1.Neighbours’ plans will impact system changes Depending on level of implementation and dates for migration a translation function might be required 2.Local operational concept will have an impact (e.g. use of RNAV information for route allocation) 3.Transition will be managed at local level and should be planned and co-ordinated with neighbours as early as possible
