S1, S2 and S3 Focus Group A selection of pupils from each year were asked their views.
S1 settling into life at CHS It was easy settling in. It was hard finding you way around the school. It was quite good that we got 7 days to settle in having buddies was good. Simple transition. I was scared of being bullied but I haven’t been bullied. The myths about high school are fake. The clubs during school help.
S2 Settling into new courses It is great. Courses are sometimes not what I thought. More information on subject content. Never got all the subjects I wanted.
S3 Settling into new courses Good subjects Became friends with more people. I'm sad when subjects reject me. Exam pressure. Lots of homework. Its good that you only need to do subjects that you picked which are the ones you probably like most and are best at.
