Innovator in the field of advanced proprietary DNA sciences and marketers of natural anti-aging solutions derived from patented extracts and processes AC-11® is a patented product designed to manage the effects of aging and cell damage by supporting the body's natural ability to repair and maintain its DNA. AC-11® is an extract from the bark of a specific Uncaria, a plant indigenous to the Amazon rainforest. Optigenex Inc. has developed a patented and proprietary process for isolating the plant's active compound, which is then converted into a water-soluble material that can remain in suspension or can be consumed in tablet or powder form as well as topically for cosmeceuticals, sun care, nutritional beverages and pet products. AC-11® has been shown to block the body's NF-kB pathway, the primary pathway for autoimmune diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis, certain types of insulin dependency, lupus and other conditions – it’s a catalyst that sets DNA Repair in motion.
Patented extract from the bark of a specific Uncaria vine Patented extraction method that isolates the potent Carboxy Alkyl Esters which comprise the active ingredients in the bark No high molecular weight alkaloids associated with adverse reactions Sustainable Growth Project which is controlled by the Brazilian Environmental Institute (IBAMA) Work projects are conducted under the Floravida Institutes guidance
Patented natural DNA repair product Anti-inflammatory Boosts immune system function Highly water-soluble standardized product Protected, proprietary process eliminates 7 crude extracts known to cause side effects Validated in pre-clinical and clinical studies and published peer-reviewed articles Outstanding safety profile Measurable clinical endpoints
Stability data > 5 years LD50 > 8000 mg/kg – Our current recommended oral dosage is 350mg per day – Topical study doses range from 0.5% to 5.0% in solution No known toxicity Stability in activity & color as an ingredient in cosmetics Passes cosmetic micro-efficacy studies under USP challenge test method DSHEA registered Prop 65 Compliant

AC-11® was developed and rigorously tested to ensure quality and effectiveness Comparison of a broad spectrum anti-aging nutritional supplement with and without the addition of a DNA repair enhancing AC-11® extract DNA repair enhancement of aqueous extracts of specific Uncaria in a human volunteer study Anti-inflammatory activity of two different extracts of Uncaria tomentosa (Rubiaceae) Uncaria tomentosa inhibits TNFα production and scavenges free radicals: role in cytoprotection Anti-inflammatory actions of specific Uncaria: the role of NF-κB DNA repair enhancement of aqueous extracts of specific Uncaria in a human volunteer study Enhanced DNA repair, immune function and reduced toxicity of AC-11®, a novel aqueous extract from specific Uncaria Clinical studies abstracts available @www.AC-11.com Rainforest plants are responsible for 25%of the drugs used by Western medicine. 70% of the plants identified as having anti-cancer characteristics by the US National Cancer Institute are found only in the tropical rainforest. Well over 100 corporations and U.S. government agencies are studying rainforest plants for their medicinal capacities. However, the process of bringing a rainforest drug, or any pharmaceutical product, to market is long and costly.

“... the accumulation of random damage to the building blocks of life - especially to DNA, certain proteins, carbohydrates and lipids (fats) – that begins early in life and eventually exceeds the body’s self repair capabilities” Leonard Hayflick, PhD., UCSF S. Oxidative Stress Damage to DNA (nucleus & mitochondria) Poor DNA Repair Aging and Aging Conditions
YOUR ENVIRONMENT (Poor diet, stress, pollution, smoking, exercise, sun exposure generate free radicals) OXIDATIVE STRESS GOOD GENE REPAIR equals Antiaging GENE DAMAGE equals Aging ALTERED GENE EXPRESSION Hobbled Proteins (Glycation) Wrong soup mix (Mitochonria function) Misfiring genetic switches (Methylation and acetylation) Immune glitches (Inflammation) Faulty cell communication (Hormone imbalance)
DNA DAMAGE Mutagenic Diseases e.g. Cancer Mutagenic Diseases e.g. Cancer Chronic Disease e.g. Inflammation Chronic Disease e.g. Inflammation Two possible health consequences The major cause of human disease has been identified as DNA damage by reactive oxygen species. This has been reviewed as a contributing factor for the origin and progression of a number of conditions including aging, autoimmunity, HIV infection and cancer.
STEP 1. DNA damage detected. Enzymes uncoil and unzip DNA. (NFk-B inhibition works here also by stopping free radicals that damage DNA) STEP 2. Uncoiled structure gives access to repair enzymes. STEP 3. Damaged or misplaced nucleotides are cut out by DNA repair enzymes. (Active genes are repaired first, then less active genes) STEP 4. New segments are moved into place and the seams are sealed by other enzymes. #4#2#3#1
