6. Slide 6 MIPA status (2/2) Since February 13 2008 progress meeting, most MIPA efforts regard the thermal design. Decision to go for hot design was taken. Ti, macor and high temperature coating. Thermal tests of the coatings are planned in Mercury solar simulation chamber in Bern mid June, and at ESTEC. Manufacturing of STM starts mid May.
