7 Further information Throughout Endevor, great emphasis is placed on being able to DISPLAY information. There is information about the applications which are under Endevor's management (system), the source code which is part of the application (element), the processes used to manage the code as it migrates through the SDLC, as well as information about Endevor itself. The DISPLAY option provides us with the opportunity to view this information. You will find in later modules that the opportunity to display information is provided throughout Endevor. PF3

95 Further information The SUBSYSTEM display provides information about the subsystems which are contained within your system. The subsystem is a labeling or grouping mechanism, enabling the system to be setup in a logical manner, best suited to the type of system it is. eg. For a banking system, subsystems could be VISA, SAVINGS, CHEQUE, DEBIT etc. For normal, daily use of Endevor, the information contained in the subsystem display is required.
