3 The two major numbering systems Strong: a late 19 th -century system associated originally with the Authorized or King James Version (A/KJV). Goodrick/Kohlenberger (G/K): a late 20 th - century system associated originally with, and still tied closely to, the New International Version (NIV). A conversion chart gets you the corresponding G/K number Because that conversion chart appears from p. 759 of vol. 5 of the NIDOTTE, you could go directly from The Blue Letter Bible to the NIDOTTE: 1.
