Students start putting the learning pieces together to take on more complicated assignments. They continue to apply the basic skills they learned in second grade and they begin to do some work independently. Curriculum focuses on learning about the past, present and future. Literature, social studies and even science follow events over time, such as observing the life cycle of a butterfly or learning about world communities.

School Hours: 9:15-3:30 Arrivals before 8:30 (Special Activities) ◦ May use the Front/East Lot Circles Buses arrive between 9:00 and 9:10 Arrivals after 9:00 ◦ Please use East Lot Circle Safety ◦ Crossing Guard/Security Guards/Teachers/Bus Drivers
Walkers Meet parent/guardian outside the main entrance Students walking/biking unescorted require a note Will be dismissed at 3:20 Bus/Van Riders ◦ Will be dismissed by grade level/supervised by staff ◦ Eating/drinking not permitted on buses Changes in Dismissal Routine ◦ Written note is required ◦ Must be approved by the Main Office Your cooperation is appreciated….for safety’s sake!
