CONVERTING SCIENTIFIC NOTATION TO STANDARD FORM: 2.4 x 10 9 1.THIS NUMBER IS WRITTEN IN SCIENTIFIC NOTATION. 2.TO CHANGE IT TO STANDARD FORM, SIMPLY MOVE THE DECIMAL 9 PLACES TO THE RIGHT BECAUSE THE EXPONENT OR POWER OF 10 IS 9. 3.IF THE EXPONENT WERE TO BE NEGATIVE, YOU WOULD MOVE THE DECIMAL TO THE LEFT.
